The image captured is low resolution or has big areas of black colour in it

We have had a few reports of this and we have identified the issue. We are currently in the testing stages of a new version that fixes this. Hang tight, we will announce the new version on Twitter soon.

How do I turn a webpage into an image?

If you are on iPhone, first open our built-in browser (it looks like a slide up button [^]). Then, type in either a search term or a URL and tap the blue [Go] button.

Navigate to the page you would like to capture. Once the page has loaded (including any images) tap "Capture".

Your image has been saved to the Saved Images screen.

How do I get my Saved Images into the Photos app

In Barry's settings screen you can enable "Autosave to Camera Roll" (N.B - Camera Roll is another name for the photos in your Photos app).

To show the settings screen on iPhone, open the settings screen by tapping on the Gear icon from the Saved Images screen.

To show the settings screen on iPad, tap the Saved Images button in the top left and click the Gear icon on the panel that slides out.

How do I get my images into Google Drive?

Images created with Barry can be uploaded to Google Drive using the Google Drive app manually. Here's the steps to do this:

  1. Barry has a settings screen that allows you automatically "Save to Camera Roll". Go into settings (little Gear icon) and turn this on.
  2. Take a bunch of webpage screenshots using Barry.
  3. Install the google drive app
  4. Switch over to the Google Drive app for iOS and sign in if you haven't already.
  5. Click the plus button and choose "Upload Photo or Video"
  6. Choose Camera Roll, then choose all of the images you want to upload
  7. Hit upload! :)
